We celebrated one year of marriage this past July and what a year it’s been. We moved to London right after we got married, and then 11 short months later, moved to Stouffville. If you would have told me that we would have to move again … one month before we celebrated a year, I wouldn’t have believed you. But one thing I have learned more than anything else this year, is that “The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps”. Proverbs 16:9. As much as we try to make our own plans, the Lord is the one who establishes them. He has a plan that is better than anything we could imagine, and even in the midst of a hard season, he has brought us out of it so grateful and thankful to the Lord for his provision and plan. We are so thankful to be where we are, and we are thankful to love and serve a God who knows what is best. Here are a few of my favourites pictures from our first anniversary session with my talented and sweet friend, Carolyn Bentum. What a sweet gift these will be to look back on.
